The WIDB initiative was established by the International Training Centre of the ILO and Microsoft Philanthropies, with support from the ILO Women’s Entrepreneurship Development Programme. Kithms delivers the official WIDB Foundations curriculum and adds a separate Kithms-designed practical AI layer. The added AI material is a Kithms programme enhancement; it is not presented as part of the official WIDB curriculum or certificate.

Guided learning, not a done-for-you service
Kithms helps you understand, plan and create the foundations for your business. If you later want help building a website, automation or reporting system, you can discuss that separately after the programme. It is not required to join or complete WIDB.

Four-week cohort
Eight guided sessions covering four official WIDB modules, practical AI applications, coaching, and action planning.
Online on Google Meet
16 hours of guided sessions, held on Fridays and Saturdays from 16:00 to 18:00 CAT.
Self-paced learning
WIDB platform modules, worksheets and practical work on your business between sessions.
Up to 10 participants
A small cohort with personal support, peer learning, and real interaction.

You do not need advanced technical skills, but you do need a business context to work on and time to complete the programme.
Who this cohort is for
- You already run a formal or informal business with up to 20 employees and want to use digital tools better
- Or you have a clear business idea you are serious about starting within the next 6-12 months
- You know your customers, context, and basic numbers, even if they are still written in a notebook
- You want to reach customers, manage operations, sell, and use AI more confidently and responsibly
- You can attend at least seven sessions and dedicate approximately 24–28 hours across four weeks
- You have a tablet or computer, reliable internet, a Gmail account, and basic digital literacy
- You are comfortable participating in English; a supported free AI tier is sufficient for the exercises

Individual seats are paid 100% upfront after a place is offered. Your seat is confirmed after cleared payment. Read the payment, cancellation, and rescheduling terms.
What your fee does not include
- A laptop or tablet, internet/data, or paid AI and software subscriptions
- Done-for-you content publishing, website/store setup, workflow automation, bookkeeping, or marketing management
- Legal approval of AI-drafted policies or guaranteed sales, funding, or other business results

When a place is offered, payment is due within 72 hours.
The refund terms supplied with the payment invitation apply. Requests made after the programme begins are not normally eligible for a refund.
A confirmed place may only be transferred with written approval from Kithms before the programme begins.
