Information Kithms collects
Kithms receives information you choose to submit through enquiry, workshop, event, assessment, enrolment, resource, and Kithms Insights forms. Depending on the form, this may include your name, work email, organisation, role, telephone number, preferred service, and the details needed to understand your request.
For the four scored assessments, unfinished progress is kept in your browser for seven days. Anonymous funnel records contain only an opaque session ID, the assessment type, an answer count, a fixed stage code and timestamps—not your name, contact details or raw answers. If you choose “Email me a link to finish later,” Kithms stores your email address and draft long enough to provide the private link, sends one transactional reminder after 24 hours if needed, and deletes that resume record after 30 days.
The Digital Launchpad waitlist may also collect a business location, WhatsApp order number, preferred public business email and domain, a description of available web and brand materials, desired customer actions, and the types of customer payment methods the business plans to display. The waitlist does not request payment links, mobile-money account details, bank account numbers, passwords, PINs, OTPs, card details, private API keys, payment-gateway secret keys, or account login credentials. Appropriate access or payment-display details are requested only after a project is accepted.
WIDB Accelerator enrolment records may include first and last name, gender, email, phone and WhatsApp numbers, city, country, business name, business stage, programme commitment acknowledgement, and a record of your data-use consent. These details are used to manage the cohort and create or maintain the participant's WIDB platform profile. Kithms records the consent wording, version, and date so that the purpose of collection remains clear.
The website may also record limited technical information such as an IP-derived security hash, browser user agent, referring page, campaign attribution, and analytics events. Payment providers process the payment details entered on their own checkout services; Kithms does not need to store complete payment-card details.
The free Chart Picker, Completeness Scorecard, and Quick Duplicate Checker record only that a tool was opened, an analysis was completed, or an export was used. CSV files are processed in the browser. Filenames, column headings, cell values, uploaded data, analysis results, and export contents are not sent to Kithms analytics.
How the information is used
Kithms uses submitted information to respond to requests, manage WIDB enrolment and accelerator delivery, deliver services and events, manage workshop proposals and registrations, provide requested resources, maintain service records, prevent abuse, improve the website, and meet legitimate record-keeping obligations.
Submitting an enquiry, event registration, workshop request, WIDB enrolment, waitlist form, or assessment does not automatically subscribe you to Kithms Insights.
Kithms Insights subscription
Kithms Insights uses separate, explicit consent and double opt-in. After signing up, you must follow the confirmation link before the subscription becomes active. Subscription emails explain how to unsubscribe.
If you unsubscribe, the address is retained in a suppression record so Kithms can respect that choice and maintain an audit trail. Re-subscribing requires a fresh confirmation.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain service and financial records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, or meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by record type.
Kithms applies practical access, authentication, data-minimisation, and operational controls. No internet service can promise absolute security, so sensitive personal or confidential organisational records should not be submitted through a general website form.
Your choices and questions
You may ask Kithms to correct information, explain how it is being used, or consider a deletion request where retention is not required. Kithms Insights subscribers can unsubscribe through the link in any subscription email.
For a privacy question or request, email info@kithms.com and describe the record or interaction concerned.
